Guilty Pleasure

I got an email from the library today that a book I ordered came in. I was so excited all day, waiting for it to come it. Was it a great novel, a literary wonder, maybe a book about neurological functioning or music therapy, you ask?

Nope.

It was
this. So fabulously bad and yet so fun to read. I cannot wait to jump in bed and start it!

Oh no, and does Clementine oppress you for reading this, or is she more accepting of the crazy sci-fi than she used to be? ;)

Enjoy your book!

I can't oppress her, as much as I'd like to. That's cuz I read all sorts of crazy-ass books, too. Also, here's a direct quote from Hashbrown last night:

"I'm so excited to read this book! It's about a lady who is married to a dragon. But he's a jerk!"

Love it.

She does not oppress me for I was supportive through her hard core chick lit reading phase.

And the dragon is a jerk.

And you remain suportive through my trashy mystery phase. Oh wait, that's not actually a phase: It's my preferred type of novel. Though right now I'm reading (yet another) memoir, not trashy fiction. Go me.

OK, you ladies are cracking me up right now. I love the quote about the dragon being a jerk. I love your "phase" which is not a phase, Clementine, and I just think this is hysterical.

At least none of us is reading about unicorns. At the moment. I'll see what I can do about that.

Oh boy! Here is a whole series about unicorns!
